What A Bluray/DVD Should Be Like

If you're like me then you already bought the Bluray or DVD of KICK-ASS and watched every ounce of what it has to offer (excluding commentaries, that takes a couple hours). I for one think this is a perfect example of what should be done for most movies (especially comic book movies) when they have a Bluray release. KICK-ASS is packed with video segments such as a feature length making of, a look at comic to film, and trailers, it also includes art from all points in the production of the movie from John Romita J.R.'s art to production stills of the cast and crew.

What I enjoyed the most was the Making Of feature, it was all encompassing and when I say that I mean it they recorded a movie of a group of people making a movie called KICK-ASS and it is fucking hilarious and awesome as shit! I own a lot of movies (lost count after around 700) and I have to say THIS Bluray blows 95% of my collection out of the water. All Im really trying to convey with this post is that Im tired of the movie studios and whoever else is in charge taking the easy route and not offering any special features with the retail release of their movies. A GREAT example is Mr. George Lucas, now as much as LOVE Star Wars I have to say I am very disappointed in George for his sheer greediness.

ONE Lucas is sitting on rooms full of unreleased content from deleted scenes to audition tapes.
TWO He has released so many versions of the original Star Wars films and barely included a thing.
THREE I know it and you know it, he's just waiting to release everything on one GIANT ass set costing over $150 (prob over $200) and not giving us a choice but to rebuy them all again.
The part that pisses me off is IT WORKS

Any way just BUY KICK-ASS because its a DAMN good movie and a fucking GREAT Bluray!
